3 out of 5 stars This was just Ok for me   July 18, 2008
Mavis (Missouri, United States)
I first tasted this seasoning on meat at Sam's Club. If you go to Sam's on Saturday you know ALL the samples taste good.

Anyways, it was just ok when I got it home and tried it on stuff. The spices are coarsley ground which is cool. It has a nice garlic flavor. But, it's easy to over season with this stuff. There is some kind of seed in the mix and I think that has a wang to it. I'm not sure what kind of seed because the ingredient info is on the label is printed in French. I like the Durkee Steak Dust much better.

5 out of 5 stars Spice up your life . . . memories of great outdoors and beyond   April 8, 2008
Hugh Mcloone (Bellevue, WA USA)
Two years ago, I first experienced Tone's Canadian Steak Seasoning on a week-long canoe trip in the boundary waters of Quetico in Ontario, Canada. The trip leader used it on our morning breakfast eggs, sprinkling it on just after the scrabbled eggs hit the hot skillet. Just a little sprinkle was all it took to take the eggs to another level. As a gift, he gave me a large Tone's restaurant-sized container. I use it every time I make eggs, sprinkling on the Tone's, then some grated cheese. My supply has twindled because I bought little spice jars to share the seasoning with friends at Christmas holidays. One friend broke up with her boyfriend and she was worried about "who would get the Tone's Canadian Steak Seasoning." She got the Tone's!

5 out of 5 stars Don't Leave Home Without It!   November 2, 2007
John D. Culbertson (Pittsburgh, PA USA)
We received Tones as a gift and couldn't find it to purchase when the supply ran out. It had become an essential part of our beef grilling ritual. Quel domage! So....Amazon to the rescue. We bought two because of the obscene shipping cost associated with the product, but still found it to be good value.

5 out of 5 stars Great seasoning   August 20, 2007
Nancy P. Kopf (Sarasota,FL)
I was just introduced to this by my good friend. Just remember not to put any more SALT on the item.
I used it on a burger.. Excellant!!! Nothing more required..

5 out of 5 stars great all around seasoning   April 11, 2007
Laura Salmi (Colorado)
Love this seasoning. Twice a week I throw some boneless skinless chicken breasts in my crockpot and sprinkle with Tones Canadian Steak Seasoning. We chunk it and eat it on top of baby greens with other fresh vegetables. Also great for sandwiches and on nachos. Also makes a great seasoning burgers.........grilled or panfried.
