Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Jerking is a traditional style of barbecuing. This paste, when rubbed sparingly into meat should be left overnight for best results, then grilled or roasted slowly. Adjust to your taste...if you like it mild, or HOT! HOT! HOT!

I found a recipe for jerk chicken on one of the bottles, haven't been able to find it since.
Mix 1TB Jerk Seasoning to 2TB Yogurt (vanilla, plain, low fat, non fat, regular) all amazing... with wings, thighs, drumettes.... Marinade for 24-48 hours, then slow bake or grill...225-275 degrees for 2 hours. Amazing!!!

I've been using Walkerswood since restoration in Miami for Hurricane Andrew, referred my a Jamaican friend. It is the best, hands down.

5 out of 5 stars real jerk seasoning   May 12, 2010

when in jamica years ago i ate jerk pork or chicken everyday i loved it and brought one jar of walkerswood home with me. when my jar was empty i went to see what i could find at different stores. the ingredients in the sauces i did not like did not even have similar ingredients to walkerswood. while this product is full of flavor it is not overly spicy. 1 tablespoon will work for a pound of meat. the jar can be used many times.
enjoy

5 out of 5 stars Walkerswood Traditional Jerk Seasoning   May 2, 2010

This stuff is VERY good. I had been looking around for authentic jerk sauce recipies and Walkerswood came highly recommended from friends who hail from the Islands. I marinated chicken with Walkerswood (two tablespoons of Walkerswood to one stick of melted unsalted butter.) for a day and then grilled the meat. It was fantastic. The next time I grill, I'm going to try another way to make the marinade (two tablespoons of Walkerswood to one cup of Italian dressing).

5 out of 5 stars Great for grilling!!!   April 13, 2010

This stuff is wonderful! Great spicy flavor! We found it origianally in Jamacia and continue to order it and pass it on to our friends. I mainly use it for marinading meat that I grill but I'm sure that it has a lot of other uses. Use it sparingly...alittle goes a long way. Often I will marinade a cut up chicken with about a small table spoon of this stuff. I usually use some cheap marinade or salad dressing as a medium since this is a paste. Or you can rub it on. Either way, it is great! Two small jars of this stuff will last you all year.
