Best Cookbook I Ever Bought! September 5, 2010 dropofhope Every recipe that I have tried has come out perfect! My favorite thing about the book is the explanation of why they have chosen a specific recipe and process. It really informs the decision making process when I am not cooking from a recipe...It is the best!
not as advertised September 3, 2010 Jim 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
purchased book to get a recipe called skillet peach cobbler ,which was featured in their 10th season of the test kitchen tv show .I was very disappointed to find that it was not included . All of the 10th season recipes were supposed in the book this one was not.
Horrible Overseas Customer Service ! ! ! August 29, 2010 David L. Hubert (New Jersey) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Ordered this book with Amazon ... had a question about the pricing of my order and received an "oversea" customer service department. The call quality was horrible. the individual did not overlly understand my issue and kept calling Ma'am when I am a male. Corrected him and he apologized by saying "Sorry Ma'am". Very disappointed in Amazon's customer service department ! ! ! Would seriously consider using another ordering website when ordering items now and during the holidays. Asked the gentleman if there was someone in the States who could assist me and he said no "It was all overseas" ....
America's Test Kitchen Cook Book July 30, 2010 Calisto 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is without a doubt the best cookbook I have ever purchased. A friend of mine was raving about how nice it was to have an explanation next to the recipe in this book, so I decided to take the plunge and buy it. After several weeks I have to agree with her. It is great having a nice little paragraph telling me what the cooks liked about each recipe along with what they tried and did not like. All this in a huge book with hundreds of recipes and you have the only cookbook you will ever need.
2-Star reviewer is mistaken July 12, 2010 Tom 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The reviewer who gave this book only 2 stars did so because she says that the recipes for triple-chocolate cookies was not included. First, I hardly think that's a reason to give such a low score and second, the recipe she is looking for is actually located on page 465.
This cookbook is fantastic...and the videos are amazing too, though quite pricey!
If you want recipes that work, then buy this book.
