Nice idea, but doesn't hold enough July 30, 2010 Richard Rast I wanted a wall-hanging spice rack because I live in an apartment with a very very small kitchen, and there isn't cabinet space for spices and pots. This is sort of a solution. It hangs nicely on the wall - there are provided screws, but the adhesive 3M hooks will hold it up fine. It's very light.
Some people have complained about the height; this is legitimate. Your normal spices come in two bottles, the standard size and half-height - both of those will fit fine, although the standard size fits a bit snugly. Unfortunately, any 'oversized' spice will NOT fit, except on the top row. This is not my main complaint; I don't have many oversized spices, and the ones I do have can fit in the top row with no problem. If you are using nonstandard containers (i.e. you removed the spices from their original packaging and put them in your own jars) you should really pick something out in person.
The real complaint I have is that the thing is just too small. It holds 18 normal-sized bottles - 6 on each row - and any serious cook will have far more than that number. So if you are a casual / single-ethnicity cook and you only have a few spices, or for whatever reason you want to just have a few types out and the rest somewhere else, this would be great for you. But, if you (like me) cook more than one kind of food, the requisite spices will overwhelm this little rack.
Overall, it's a good product - solid, attractive, useful - but too small.
Never received it July 27, 2010 ceboswell78 I am overseas in Germany. Never received my item. Was most likely returned at customs and I was refunded. Not seller's fault.
Spice Rack July 2, 2010 Alex Dawson Would've like it to be a little larger, and it'd be nice if it came with wall anchors.
Overall it looks nice on the wall and doesn't feel flimsy. Holds my spice jars pretty well, just need a little more space.
Great quality for the price! June 29, 2010 Love To Shop (USA) Although smaller than i expected, that is my fault as I did not really pay attention to the specs.
This was easy to hang and holds most of my spices. It will not hold the larger bottles, but works well.
good space saver June 21, 2010 Jeff Abes We screwed this into the back of our pantry door. Almost all of our spice bottles fit in it. There are a few narrow bottles that tilt a little bit, but none of them fall out. The product does not come with anchors, only screws, but we didn't need anchors for the door. We are happy with how it looks.
