I'd been on the look out for some small jars that I could store granular resin incense in and also store some of my necklace making beads & crystals in. These jars are pefect for both! Just the right size & volume capacity. I put 'return address' sized labels accross the lids for identifying what's inside. I will admit, some of the lids are really tight fitting and some are a wee on the loose side. For the price, you just can't go wrong. All and all - they are fantastic little jars! I've ordered 3 cases so far - and I'm about to order another case.

I love these spice jars! After much research on the Internet for good spice jars, I decided to go with these.
Pro's
-Excellent seal, very tight and it feels like air is pushed out.
-Feels really durable and I don't feel nervous about cracking them when popping of the lid.
-You get 12!
-Very beautiful! No ugly looking plastic or loose fitting chrome lids.
-Won't rust like the metal containers.
-I had a few extra that I use for snacks and it allows me to control my portions.
Con's
-If you're using them for spices, you still have to cover them or keep them in the cabinet away from light.
-They'll move around on metal racks! I bought the three tier metal rack and they won't stay safely on the third tier. Well, that's more of a problem with the rack.
-When popping off the lid, you might make a mess with finer spices because the seal is so tight.
-Shipping from Target is really expensive!
-They're a little small. If you like to buy spices at the spice market, you'll end up putting the extra spices that don't fit into plastic bags.
-Slightly difficult to put labels on the first time (I used clear dymo labels I made myself). Find the sweet spot toward the bottom half of the middle and you're good to go! Make the labels yourself with dymo because those label sets don't have everything and are somewhat unattractive. It's probably less to buy the label roll for the dymo label maker than it is to buy those label sets with labels you won't use and labels that don't come with the set. I made that mistake and ended up making my own.
The pro's most definitely outweigh the con's!

These bottles provide a tight seal for spices. I tried to use them for gifts of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Not good for liquids. I can also see using them for small items such as tacks, nails or buttons. Very well made.

Very nice jars. I built (literally) a new kitchen for my wife and included a shallow drawer just for these jars. Got 2 sets and she labeled each one with a label maker and she now has a consistent method for her spices to be organized. Gone are the 30 random non matching inconsistently labeled jars and oh no we are out of that one. Sorry could see in the original container. Now she know what she has and even better, where it is located.
